Crown Corporations including SaskPower, SaskEnergy and the SGI Auto Fund regularly review their rates and pricing through applications to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel (SRRP). The Panel provides an opinion to the Government after review of these applications regarding the whether the rate change is reasonable – taking into consideration the interested of the customer, the Crown Corporation, and the public.
Currently, SaskEnergy and SGI’s Auto Fund have pending applications that will be discussed in public meetings in the next month.
If you are interested in attending any of the public meetings to voice your opinion about the pending rate increases, please attend any of the following meetings:
